Ahadnan Hussain (Adnan)
Director of Restaurant / Chef / Front of House
Graduate from the University of Greenwich in Youth & Community Studies and has a number of additional short and long term qualification in his portfolio in the field of community regeneration. Furthermore, despite the academics he has 14 years of hands on community work for the voluntary sector and the local government in Westminster, Camden, Bridgend and Newport. Having a passion for cooking Ahadnan has taken his culinary skills to a new dimension in Indian Cuisine. Ahadnan has transformed the way restaurants operate by offering individuals life long learning opportunities through volunteering. It is envisaged this opportunity will enable individuals develop the transferable skills/social skills to help them become more economically active.
Dostogir Hussain (Dosty)
Director of Restaurant / Events Coordinator / Front of House
Graduate from the University of Newport in Business and Marketing. Has followed deep family ties within the hospitality and catering industry by demonstrating how traditional recipes are provided in a modern restaurant delivered by young professionals. Dosty has adapted the importance of a customer service approach and meeting the individual needs and demands within the Indian Restaurant Industry. Dosty has continued to apply is management knowledge in the business to enhance the performance and productivity in the staff and the volunteers
Mohibur Rahman
Head Chef
Mohibur has a life time experience in the Indian Restaurant Trade having worked in a number of well known establishments within the United Kingdom and abroad. Mohibur has not only mastered the Mango House Menu but also has introduced new and healthier approaches in culinary delights. Mohibur has wide experience and knowledge around authentic cooking and how to apply different spices to achieve real distinction to the end product.
Mostak Miah
Tandoor / Clay Oven Chef
Mostak is great contribution to the organization by specializing in the fusion of spices and offering a wide range of dishes from traditional and modern cuisine? The Tandoor is a special traditional clay oven which only a few have mastered as it requires knowledge, extensive skills and years of practice to work in harmony with it. The Mango House is privileged to have such a person on board in offering such an extensive menu and choices.
Abdul Hafig
Volunteer
Abdul is a volunteer member of staff who is currently developing his knowledge around the Indian Restaurant cuisine. He has developed a good understanding of the importance of food storage and handling. Abdul has recently completed his Level 2 in Food Safety in Catering certified by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. Abdul is currently being supervised by Ahadnan Hussain and soon will develop a greater knowledge of the art of cooking.
Mohammed Moyun Uddin
Volunteer
Mohammed Moyun is a young energetic individual who at first lacked self-confidence. Volunteering at the Mango House has really helped him develop and excel all expectations. Moyun is growing in confidence and is continuously enhancing is own performances as a young chef. Moyun is able to carryout task both as a Chef and a Tandoori Chef. In addition Moyun has recently completed his Level 2 in Food Safety in Catering certified by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. Moyun has indicated to achieve his goal it will require much more time, commitment and has to still remain focused
Mohammed Faisal Ali
Head Waiter
Faisal is a great waiter with a real bubbly personality. Faisal has worked in a number of Restaurants. His contribution is immense and is liked by everyone who knows him. Faisal has positively provided individuals with encouragement and continuous support in the industry to help individual’s personal development. Faisal is well equipped to give advice and knowledge around particular dishes and if it is not in the menu could offer alternatives.
Simon Large
Bar & customer service
Simon is energetic and a real team player offering his wide knowledge of drinks and is happy to have a drink with individuals as well. Simon offers professionalism at a high standard having worked as a manager for Burton and Outfits part of the Arcadia Group. Simon is not an employee but offers his time and support when required demonstrating his continuous friendship towards the Mango House.
Sahied Choudwary (Siju)
Waiter
Siju is a real cheeky youngster who has left school on a year break to focus what career option to pursue. As a request from his parents, Adnan and Dosty’s first cousin they have agreed to take Siju onboard as an apprentice to help him develop and stay focused and refrain from unsociable activities. Further reason is to help Siju understand the importance of family values and what can be achieved through hard work and by supporting each other.
Aftab Miah
Waiter
Aftab has recently joined the restaurant and has displayed positive attitude and professionalism in offering a personalized service. Aftab has years of experience as working as a waiter within the South Wales region. Aftab is like lightening and works real efficiently and his understanding of customer requirement is great. Aftab has demonstrated great character and is very much a team player and often applies his own initiatives positively enhancing the business.
